The recording session for the new album is in progress, we´re tracking bass and drums every week so it is a busy time for Petter and Erik.

The band felt that due to the fact that it is very hard to find our previous albums today, we selected eleven songs that we wanted to re-release. We re-produced and re-mixed the songs in our own studio and added two new songs and that folks..... is Higher Ground - 13 tracks.

It´s been a busy 2008 for all the members of Higher ground. It hard combining day jobs with playing in a band. But we see a bright future for the band in 2009, playing live a couple of times during 2008 have really given the band new inspiration and a lot of new ideas. We will try to release a couple of new songs and maybe an album in 2009, until then Higher Ground whishes you all a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
